For travellers in search of some winter sunshine, such locations require more time spent on the plane. These exotic hotspots include Dubai, Australia and Thailand and the longer a passenger is on the plane equates to more cabin service hours for staff, delivering meals and attending to special requests. Qatar Airways cabin crew member Nate Hovee has now spoken out about the worst part of his journey when venturing to far-flung destinations.
